
7 Days Safaris to in the Southern Circuit of Tanzania to Nyerere National Park, Mikumi National Park and Ruaha National Park
Morning depart to Nyerere National Park with picnic lunch, the journey will take 6 hours. Late afternoon, boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River, brings you into close contact with hippo, crocodile and fantastic birdlife. Animals make their way to the river to drink and boats may approach elephant, lion, buffalo, giraffe, waterbuck and other game on the river banks to within a few meters. Crocodile glide into the water as your boat approaches and hippo appear in frightening proximity, grunting and blowing steam.
After breakfast checks out and launch the journey to Ruaha with lunch in Iringa Town, continue to National Park where you will arrive in the afternoon. Evening short game drives in the park or relaxation at leisure. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
Morning after breakfast, wilderness walking safari with guidance of an armed ranger take 2hrs. Walking safari will give you a particularly intimate feel for the African wilds. It starts in the morning. After walking meet with your vehicle and game drive en route to Mikumi National Park, the journey is the most amazing and truly wild and untouched areas of Tanzania. The drive will take you up into the Uluguru Mountains across rivers and past small local villages and farms. The drive is tiring but possibly the most rewarding and adventurous on the southern circuit. Dinner and overnight will be at Camp.
After breakfast checks out and launch the journey to Ruaha with lunch in Iringa Town, continue to National Park where you will arrive in the afternoon. Evening short game drives in the park or relaxation at leisure. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
Morning after breakfast, game viewing drives in Ruaha National Park, look for Roan and Sable antelope, Hippo Crocodile, waterbuck, Reedbuck and Buffalo venture to the rivers edge to drink, attracting the attention of Lion, Leopard, Hyena, Wild dog and jackal and many more antelopes include Dik dik. There are many birds in the park include Eurasia migrants that Comes to visit the park twice a year. Dinner and overnight will be at Camp.
After breakfast walking safari accompanied by an experienced guide, here you will have the opportunity to ‘touch the wild’. Lunch will be at the camp/lodge. In the afternoon game viewing drive en route to Iringa Town for dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Iringa / Dar es Salaam
Morning after breakfast, short tour to Ismila Stone Age Site and depart to Dar es Salaam, where you will arrive late evening and drop of at the hotel or airport.
